Editorial policy

Rankings are computed, not written. Every table is generated from the observation database by published rules (methodology). No person assigns a rank, and there is no “editor's pick”, sponsored position or composite best-of score.

Commercial relationships cannot touch the data. Affiliate status is a field on the provider record, displayed wherever it is true, and ignored by every sort. No provider pays for placement; if one ever pays for a labeled ad, it will be marked as an ad and listed on the disclosure page. Providers cannot edit their records; they can submit information, which is labeled provider-submitted until an editor verifies it first-party, and they can file corrections with evidence.

Claims match evidence. Verified and third-party figures are never blended; a missing fact prints as “not publicly verified”; promotional prices are labeled; compounded medications are always identified as not FDA-approved. Clinical statements cite primary sources and fall under the medical review policy.

Mistakes are corrected in the open. Confirmed errors are fixed in the next build and recorded on the corrections log with what was wrong and when it was fixed. Dated monthly snapshots are never rewritten; corrections to a snapshot are appended and dated.
