Membership fees, measured

A membership fee is a price increase wearing a lanyard. This page measures who charges one and what it does to the number that matters.

As of August 31, 2026:

Of 59 tracked programs, 25 state no membership fee, 8 publish a mandatory fee ($49–$199 per month), and 26 do not publish the amount — those are recorded as “not published”, never assumed to be zero. The fee is why advertised and real prices diverge: Mochi Health’s $199 medication price becomes $278 all-in once its $79 membership is added. Every all-in figure on this site already includes the fee where one exists.
